Do I need to register or open an account with DS Hatch Photography to purchase prints on this site?
You can register with DS Hatch Photography, or you can make a purchase and check out as a "guest" if you wish. There are no costs associated with registering.
How do I use the "Wall Preview" feature?
On any "product page" you can click Wall Preview below the pricing and view the image displayed on a wall. Change the wall color, or change the type of room, or change the image size (if available). This gives you an idea of the scale of the image and the impact it makes on the space. Use this tool to visualize the image in your home or office.
Will the printed image look the same as the online version?
Images on a computer screen are backlit as compared to the physical print which reflects light.
The medium, canvas or aluminum, which the image is printed on makes a difference, allowing a greater color spectrum and detail.
The actual size of the print when placed on a wall creates a totally different perspective.
When will a print ship once I purchase?
Prints usually take 3 to 4 days to print, mounting, application of UV protection and packaging. You will receive an email with a tracking number after your print ships, so that you know when it will arrive.
How do you ship prints?
All prints are packaged in sturdy packaging to insure safe delivery. Art is shipped through a trackable, insured carrier. Please note; a signature is required for delivery unless you request delivery without a signature. You assume responsibility for the print after it has been delivered.
What should I do if I receive a damaged print?
Prints are carefully packaged to insure safe delivery, which makes receiving a damaged print very rare. If you do receive a damaged print, contact me within 3 days at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-860-508-5422. You must save the box and all packaging material; I must have these in order to process the claim.
What is our Return Policy?
Once your print is delivered, you have 7 days to return it. This gives you time to see the print in your home or office to make sure you are satisfied with the purchase. If you are not satisfied, or it does not meet your expectations, ship your return within 7 days to DS Hatch Photography and I will issue a full refund for the price of the print.
Repackage the print in its original box the way it was originally packaged and take to a FedEx or UPS store and send it to the return address on the package within 7 days. Make sure to insure the print for its declared value and return via a trackable, insured carrier. I do not cover return shipping costs.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club cards. A 6.35% CT sales tax will be applied to all orders.
